Inspiration

1971

The very first SICURA SUPER WATERPROOF models, released for sale at the end of 1972, drew directly from SICURA’s earlier diver heritage. By carrying over the core elements that defined the brand’s classic tool watches, the design kept SICURA’s unmistakable diving DNA at the center of this landmark release—authentic, functional, and unmistakably purpose-built.

Key materials

Stainless steel is one of the most trusted materials in watchmaking, combining durability, refined appearance, and everyday practicality. The SICURA DIVER COMPRESSOR is crafted in 316L stainless steel, prized for its strong resistance to corrosion and its ability to achieve a brilliant finish through polishing. It’s a reliable choice for a timepiece made to handle both daily wear and demanding environments—especially in and around the water.
For components that need to stay sharp-looking and tough under pressure, ceramic is one of the best modern solutions. It’s a non-metal, mineral-based material formed by sintering at extremely high temperatures, which creates a compact, highly stable structure. The result is a part that’s built for long-term wear, with impressive resistance to the kind of everyday abuse a true tool watch is meant to take.
To keep the dial perfectly visible while protecting it from daily wear, the SICURA DIVER COMPRESSOR uses a synthetic sapphire crystal—chosen for its exceptional hardness and strong resistance to scratches. A transparent anti-reflective coating reduces glare, so the time remains easy to read in bright sunlight as well as underwater. Sapphire is grown in controlled conditions from purified material, creating a clear, durable crystal that can then be precisely shaped and finished for watch use.
This watch uses dual-color Super‑LumiNova: green on the outer bezel scale and numerals, blue on the hands and hour markers. The strong two-tone glow maximizes underwater and low-light legibility for precise timing.

OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE

Peak performance

The Super Compressor was born for the depths and built for the surface. With 400 metres of water resistance, a unidirectional bezel, and a luminous dial engineered for zero-visibility conditions, it performs where lesser watches do not.
Movement

Calibre SW200

The Sellita SW200 is a proven Swiss automatic movement, valued for its dependable construction and consistent timekeeping. Built around a robust, service-friendly architecture, it delivers the kind of reliable performance that makes it a trusted choice for everyday wear—precision you can count on, day after day.

The house design from the hexagonal periometer echoes that of the brand's glory years when E. Schneider succeeded in giving products great personality

Designed to push the limits, the compressor case stands out thanks to its dual crowns. The first allows the internal bezel to be adjusted, thus avoiding any risk of inadvertent manipulation.

A 12-hour bezel lets a wristwatch show a second time zone by rotating the bezel so its hour scale lines up with the main hour hand.

This watch uses dual-color Super‑LumiNova: green on the outer bezel scale and numerals, blue on the hands and hour markers. The strong two-tone glow maximizes underwater and low-light legibility for precise timing.

A ratcheting diver clasp is an excellent feature for dive watches due to its functionality and versatility. This clasp allows users to make micro-adjustments to the bracelet length without requiring tools.
